The structure (porosity) of the products that Sitab produces is indicated by a number included in the range between 0 and 16, depending on the distance between the grits.
The larger the distance between the grits (more porosity), the higher will be the number of the structure.
During the past years, our company developed new methods to obtain porosity that can be controlled and variable according to the specific needs. Also, it is possible to create extra porous abrasive tools with a high efficiency, which are used with hard material and/or material sensible to the heat.
