HARDNESS
The level of hardness of an abrasive tool depends on the strength used by the binding to keep the abrasive grains on the tool's surface.
Hardness depends on:
- binding quantity
- type of binding
- structure (porosity) of the abrasive tool
- type of the used tool
Hardness:
Very soft | Soft | Medium | Hard | Very hard |
D | H | L | P | T |
